EDB Investments Pte Ltd (EDBI) is the wholly-owned investment arm of the Economic Development Board (EDB). EDBI was set up in 1991. We make investments into Companies that will grow EDB's industry clusters and promote emergent technologies and innovations. Such projects are typically Singapore-based projects which have a substantial impact on the development of the industries promoted by EDB, and in partnership with local companies and/or multinational companies.
EDBI's role is catalytic and complementary, and our participation is meant to spur new projects in these key industry clusters. We will work with our partners on our exit timeframe.
There are various other investment groups within EDBI, each with their own investment focus and objectives.
