Elbau Opens First Overseas Manufacturing Plant in Singapore

Elbau, a leading European manufacturer of customised sensors and microsystems is opening a $6.5 million production facility in Singapore. This facility will be its first overseas plant in Asia.

"High quality engineering and reliability are the hallmarks of our products and to achieve this, we need world class production and R&D capabilities that Singapore abundantly provides," said Mr Thomas Sichting, Managing Director, Elbau Elektronik Bauelemente GmbH.

The new facility in Kallang Sector will create more than 50 specialised jobs in the area of design and production of these highly complex sensors, a patented technology of Elbau.
