Life Technologies open Asia Distribution Centre in Singapore

Life Technologies, the US-based global biotechnology tools leader announced today that it has launched a first-ever regional hub for distribution, Asia Distribution Centre in Singapore. Located in the Tuas Biomedical Park and spanning a built-up area of 5,790 sqm (or 62,300 sqft), the ADC will boost the quality, availability and timely delivery of Life Technologies' breakthrough products to its regional customers. The official opening was graced by Dr Beh Swan Gin, Managing Director of Singapore Economic Development Board.


Life Technologies' Asia Distribution Centre was set up in August 2010 and adopts a hub-and-spoke model, with Singapore as the regional hub for our product distribution throughout Asia, including North Asia. Since the establishment of its Asia Distribution Centre, Life Technologies has also set up new distribution channels to Oceania, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and India. The opening of the Asia Distribution Centre adds to Life Technologies' growing presence in Singapore, which also spans manufacturing, sales, marketing and regional headquarter activities.
