Medtronic Singapore opened its first Pacemaker and Leads manufacturing facility in Asia on 10 March 2011.

This first-in-Asia facility will have trained over 150 employees by this year for the high value-added manufacturing of cardiac devices and lead.

Singapore is also home to Medtronic’s international and Asia headquarters, from which it manages global operations including supply chain, business development and regulatory affairs.

The opening ceremony was graced by Mr Lim Hng Kiang, Minister for Trade and Industry.
