MEMC, a global supplier of polysilicon, silicon wafers and systems to the solar and semiconductor industries, announced it will be establishing its global headquarters and R&D centre for Solar Cells and Modules in Singapore. The headquarters will function as a global profit centre, with full product risk and responsibility, while the R&D centre will conduct product design, process and equipment engineering, as well as reliability and testing.
