- I am delighted to join you in celebrating the 30th anniversary of Murata Electronics' operations in Singapore.
- Murata has been a strategic economic partner and exemplary corporate citizen. Since its establishment, Murata's operations have grown in sophistication from labor-intensive assembly operations to innovation-driven, high value-added ceramic chip manufacturing.
- Despite its difficulties in recent years, the electronics industry will continue to be a key driver of major global economies. Singapore recognizes the potential of the electronics industry to contribute to our economic growth. We are committed to working closely with our long-standing partners, like Murata, to ensure that Singapore remains an electronics manufacturing hub.
