Mr Wood is also a managing director at Credit-Suisse and co-head of the US Power Group. He has expertise across the spectrum of Mergers & Acquisitions, initial public offerings, leveraged finance, structured finance, commodities and privatizations.

He has assisted clients on several strategic transactions and financings, a number of which were awarded Deal of the Year He was lead manager for several wind-power portfolio capital market financings. Other noteworthy transactions include the IPO of Iberdrola Renewables and Enel Green and the sale of the Energy Capital Partners' portfolio companies.

He holds a B.A. from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
