Suzanne DiMaggio
Vice President of Global Policy Programs
Suzanne DiMaggio has been a member of the Asia Society since 2007, where she led projects on Iran, Burma, water and security in Asia. She was formerly the Executive Director of Global Policy Programs at the United Nations Association of the USA, the nation's largest grassroots foreign policy organisation and leading centre for policy research and public outreach on the United Nations and global issues. During her time there, she oversaw all aspects of the Association's policy studies programmess and activities. She was also in charge of directing UNA-USA's "track two" dialogues with partner institutes in the Middle East and Northeast Asia on issues like terrorism, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, regional security, multilateral peace and humanitarian operations and UN reform. Ms. DiMaggio also authored a chapter on US-Iran track II diplomacy in The Iran Primer: Power, Politics and US Policy, a new publication from the US Institute of Peace. Quotes by this sessionist
