Kimberly-Clark launches new manufacturing lines using advanced technologies at Singapore plant

On 7 June 2016, American leading consumer products giant Kimberly-Clark announced the opening of its new manufacturing lines for Huggies baby wipes and diaper pants at its Tuas plant. The plant will use advanced and automated technologies for the manufacture of Huggies Gentle Care Baby Wipes with ~70% natural fibers.

The latest investment by Kimberly-Clark will bring the firm’s total investment in Singapore to S$400 million to date. The new products will be exported to 11 countries in the region, including China and Australia. The Asia- Pacific is Kimberly-Clark’s biggest international region by revenue.
