On 11 February 2016, ST Aerospace announced the opening of its new VIP aircraft interiors centre at Seletar Aerospace Park. The 2,690sqm centre is the region’s first and the MRO firm's second after establishing a similar centre in San Antonio, Texas in 2011.

ST Aerospace has spent S$1.7 million on the new facility, and is set to invest a total of S$8 million over the next 3 years. Capable of holding a Boeing 757, the centre comprises design studios, and workshops fitted with 3D printing technology. It will provide services such as design, upholstery and maintenance for narrow body VIP aircraft, including for the Boeing Business Jet and Airbus Corporate Jet range.
Five maintenance and refurbishment contracts have been inked with customers in Asia and the US. Two of the planes will be fitted at the Seletar facility which employs 20 workers. The plan is to raise the staff count to about 70 in three years.
