On 17 March 2017, StarHub opened a new 58,000 sq ft facility named Hubtricity, an innovation centre and converged operations cockpit located within STT MediaHub in one-north. ST Telemedia Global Data Centres and StarHub have jointly invested over S$250 million into the project.

The command cockpit is where StarHub can monitor how their fixed, mobile and pay TV networks and services are performing and understand how customers are using their service offerings through call-centre metrics and social media analytics.

In addition to improving StarHub's current operations, Hubtricity seeks to accelerate service innovation and co-creation between StarHub and its partners and customers in building platforms such as smart homes, intelligent vehicles, connected buildings, virtual reality and smart retail. This will provide local technopreneurs and start-ups with the opportunity to test-bed their ideas and solutions on StarHub's networks and customers.
