Khairuddin Hori is the director of Chan Hori Contemporary in Gillman Barracks. He was head-hunted by contemporary art centre Palais de Tokyo Paris to be its deputy director of Artistic Programme back in 2014. After returning to Singapore, he became co-director of Chan Hori Contemporary and curated a successful public outdoor art exhibition, Lock Route, in 2016, in collaboration with NAC. Khai graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and Lasalle College of the Arts, and is known for his multi-disciplinary and unconventional approach to curating, supported by his experience in theatre and as an artist. He also previously led the curatorial development department at NHB and was a former senior curator at SAM, specialising in SEA art.
