New Uhlmann Singapore office expands competence locally with more than 60% floor space dedicated to machine production exported to neighbouring regions and globally

Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, the family-owned company from Laupheim, Germany, is a global player that operates worldwide with a strong footprint across Southeast Asia. With the opening of its new office in Singapore, the world's leading supplier of pharmaceutical packaging systems is strengthening its presence in the area, demonstrating its commitment to the ASEAN region and showcasing its strong competence in production and services. The new site combines over 2000 square meters of space for assembly and production (approx. 62%), offices (approx. 27%) and storage and warehousing purposes (approx. 11%). Uhlmann’s new office is almost 3 times bigger than the previous one and is thus strongly expanding its competence to support the critical pharma infrastructure in Singapore, exporting local machines to over 13 neighbouring regions and globally. Machines produced in Singapore include the B 1240 blister machine, C 130 cartoner machine and the B 200 blister machine.

B 1240 Blister Machine

This universal Blister machine for GMP-compliant packaging combines flexible packaging with an outstanding price-performance ratio. The Blister machine B 1240 is a servo-regulated, universal machine suitable for the packaging of both solid and parenteral products.

B 200 Blister Machine + C 130 Cartoner Machine

These two machines are part of an economical and flexible line for professional pharmaceutical packaging. The combination of Blister machine B 200 and the Cartoner C 130 offers an economical and flexible solution for efficient solid packaging into the direct link-up premium segment.

In recent years, there has been a noticeable rise in the number of biopharmaceutical companies establishing new manufacturing facilities in Singapore.
