Oracle today announced a collaboration with Digital Industry Singapore (DISG) a joint office between the Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), and the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), to support the government of Singapore’s Enterprise Compute Initiative (ECI). The initiative is designed to accelerate AI transformation across industries by helping companies establish dedicated in-house AI teams, or AI Centers of Excellence (CoEs), in Singapore.
Enabled by the Oracle AI Customer Excellence Center in Singapore, formerly known as Oracle AI Center of Excellence, Oracle is committing up to S$250,000 per company to empower 300 Singapore-based organizations advance their AI journeys through a combination of Oracle Universal Credits, training, certification and discovery workshops. In addition, for enterprises that require private cloud infrastructure, Oracle will sponsor up to S$1.9 million to enable participating enterprises to access Oracle Private Cloud Appliance and Oracle Exadata, delivering enterprise-grade performance, scalability, and security. Combined with the Singapore Government’s support covering 70% of consultancy costs (capped at S$105,000 per enterprise), the initiative aims to lower barriers and enable enterprises to adopt AI at scale, accelerating digital transformation across industries.
