The Relax zone offers thermal pools, therapeutic mineral baths, quiet water spaces, and amenities such as hydromassage beds and infrared therapy. The Restore zone is dedicated to deeper wellbeing, including saunas, steam rooms and massage treatment spaces focused on physical and mental rejuvenation.
Visitors can expect more than 86,000 sq ft of food-and-beverage offerings for dining, relaxation, and social gatherings, complemented by sea views.
Therme Singapore Landscape and Design
Nature is woven throughout the development. The extensive landscaped environments will feature more than 200,000 plants across over 200 species, including orchids and native Southeast Asian varieties, strengthening the local biodiversity while creating immersive indoor and outdoor green environments.
Beyond the development, a coastal public park spanning almost 4 hectares will be created to connect Therme Singapore with Marina Barrage, enhancing public access to green spaces while strengthening the ecological and recreational value of the waterfront district.
Therme Singapore is developed by Therme Group in partnership with Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) and designed by multinational architecture fi rm DP Architects in collaboration with Therme Group’s in-house architects, Therme ARC. The development will incorporate a range of sustainability measures, including energy-efficient building systems, solar photovoltaic panels, smart irrigation technologies and climate-adaptive landscaping strategies aimed at reducing operational carbon emissions and supporting biodiversity.
Advanced technologies will also be integrated across operations and the visitor experience. These include waterproof RFID wristbands that function as locker keys and cashless payment tools, a next-generation robotic locker system designed to optimise convenience and space utilisation, and advanced ozone-based water fi ltration systems that enhance water quality and operational efficiency.
Skills and Capability Building
Therme Singapore is also expected to generate direct employment opportunities, alongside broader job creation across tourism, hospitality and related sectors. Roles will span construction, engineering, facilities management, operations and hospitality, underscoring the need for strong technical capabilities and industry-relevant training. An estimated 400 new jobs will be created, including the development of specialised capabilities such as sauna masters (also known as Aufgussmeisters) alongside a range of hospitality roles to lead and deliver the destination’s diverse programming.
To support workforce development, Therme Singapore has established partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning, including a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of Technical Education and Republic Polytechnic. These collaborations will focus on skills development, innovation projects, internships, and employment pathways for graduates, in line with Singapore’s approach to aligning education, industry, and employment to build a future-ready workforce.
