The Global Talent Competitive Index (GTCI) is positioned as the leading comprehensive annual benchmarking report which measure how countries and cities grow, attract and retain talent. This edition reviews 134 countries across all income groups. In 2023, Switzerland, Singapore and the United States retain their leading positions as the top three most competitive countries respectively. Singapore scores the highest on government effectiveness, political stability, personal safety, labour productivity and the ability to attract global talent.

In this special tenth year edition, the authors also review the data from the past decade to provide some key lessons on global talent and offers six key messages that are likely to dominate global talent competitiveness over the next decade.
