How GenAI Can Drive Corporate Innovation with Faster, Less Risky Venture Building

1170x550 How GenAI Can Drive Corporate Innovation with Faster Less Risky Venture Building

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, corporate venturing has become essential for organisations striving to stay competitive. As traditional business models evolve rapidly, embracing new ideas and technologies is critical to staying ahead of the curve.

GenAI can be a game-changer in corporate innovation, streamlining processes and accelerating transformation. Yet, despite the clear advantages of a strong corporate innovation strategy, a recent BCG report highlights a concerning gap in readiness. While 83% of companies rank innovation among their top three priorities, only 3% are equipped to translate their corporate innovation initiatives into tangible results.

To bridge this gap, companies must adopt the right technologies, tools, and strategies. In this report, BCG X explores how GenAI can accelerate the six key stages of venture building—minimising risks, enhancing decision-making, and fast-tracking the journey to successful product launches.

This report was developed as part of Corporate Venture Launchpad 3.0 – a corporate venturing programme by EDB New Ventures, designed to empower companies to drive deeper innovation through venture creation and startup partnerships.
