The Fung Group, Hong Kong-based retailing, trading, distribution and logistics conglomerate, opened its Southeast Asia headquarters in Singapore on Monday, 29 January 2018.Located at 1 Kallang Junction, the 21,550 square feet facility consolidates many of Fung Group's 1,200 employees in Singapore under one roof. It is meant to serve a twin base to its Hong Kong headquarters and help the company pay more attention to markets beyond Greater China.Retail companies under Fung Group include Branded Lifestyle Holdings, which operates middle-zone brands like Hang Ten; children's apparel retailer Fung Kids; and Toys"R"Us (Asia), which is a joint venture between Fung Retailing Group and Toys"R"Us in the US.
