SINGAPORE – SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 – Plaud, the company building real-world wearable AI interface for professionals, today announced the opening of its Asia-Pacific (APAC) headquarters in Singapore, alongside a commitment to invest at least SGD $20 million to expand engineering, product development and regional operations. The expanded commitment doubles the company's original SGD $10 million investment announced earlier this year, reinforcing Singapore’s role as Plaud's long-term hub for innovation and growth across APAC.
The regional headquarters was officially opened at a ceremony attended by guest-of-honour Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, alongside Plaud employees, partners and industry leaders, and officials from EDB and IMDA.
Located at Marina Bay Financial Centre (MBFC), the new 15,000 sq ft regional headquarters marks the next phase of Plaud’s APAC expansion. The space brings together teams across engineering, product, customer success, operations, marketing and business functions as the company scales across the region.
Singapore serves as Plaud's base of operations across 12 markets outside Japan and mainland China, comprising Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
