This press release was issued by Satair.

Satair has officially inaugurated its new AutoStore system at its Singapore facility, marking a major milestone in its global logistics evolution. The project, supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), is designed to meet rising customer demand with increased speed, reliability, and scalability.

The Singapore installation is the third of its kind for Satair, following Hamburg and Dulles, and forms part of a harmonised global automation strategy. The system utilises 23 robots and 60,000 bins to store approximately 80% of small and medium-sized parts, significantly increasing storage density within the existing 1,000 m² footprint.

"The inauguration of AutoStore in Singapore is a pivotal step in our transformative regional growth via technology. By integrating this advanced automation, we are ensuring that our supply chain remains resilient and ready to support the rapid fleet growth we see across Asia-Pacific. This investment reflects our commitment to providing consistent, value-added, world-class service levels to our customers."

Andy Lee
Managing Director
Satair Asia-Pacific

"The launch of this state-of-the-art automated facility at Satair reflects our unwavering commitment to the Asia-Pacific market—a region that continues to drive the future of flight. By integrating intelligent robotics into our logistics backbone, we are not only maximising our efficiency but also anchoring high-value digital services that will support the latest and next-generation commercial aircraft."

Anand Stanley
President
Airbus Asia-Pacific

"Satair’s investment in its Seletar facility will enhance Singapore’s aerospace aftermarket services ecosystem. This strengthens Singapore’s position as a regional supply chain hub for companies looking to serve rising demand across Asia-Pacific. We welcome companies to deploy innovative technologies that will spur their growth, while boosting the digital and automation capabilities of the aerospace sector and our local workforce."

Zheng Jingxin
Vice President and Head of Mobility
EDB

Looking ahead, the Satair Singapore site is preparing for further technological integrations, including Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), to further automate internal transport from picking to shipping.
