FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, opened its new regional headquarters today in Singapore housing teams that support its operations in Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa. This strategic move marks a new beginning that will position the company to manage some of the fastest growing markets in the world, accelerate growth, and help shape what’s next for its customers.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan; US Ambassador to Singapore, Mr. Jonathan Kaplan; and Chairman of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Mr. Png Cheong Boon. Global FedEx leaders, including Mr. Raj Subramaniam, president and CEO of FedEx Corporation, and Mr. Richard W. Smith, president and CEO, Airline and International of FedEx Express, were also present to celebrate the occasion.
