In 2021, more than 5,900 business entities in the Information and Communications sector were formed in Singapore. Tech giants and scaleups already in Singapore are also rapidly growing their footprint, such as Amazon opening more than 200 new roles and Razer launching their regional headquarters and growing staff count to 1,000.
There’s never a more exciting time for Singapore’s tech sector. At the same time, Singapore is working with various countries to develop digital economy frameworks that will allow greater cross-border exchanges on commercial and innovation opportunities. For instance, the UK and Europe are two regions that are strengthening their bilateral partnership with Singapore on digital trade.
